Nokia Cell phone not ringing

Hello,
I havae a Nokia 6555b with a new battery. When I place a call I can not hear it ring in my ear, nor can I hear when the voice mail comes on????

If you still have your old battery and it is somewhat usable, try it and see if it works. If it does, chances are that it is an issue with your new battery.
