I only had one nokia, a 3210. it worked OK until the display faded out and when i pulled it apart the contact mechanism was a carbonised rubber pad with 4 or 5 contacts on it. phone gets old, the compression method stops working and bye bye screen. what a joke. first and last nokia for me if that's how shoddy they build them.

They stop talking and start fixing their OS if they are not interested on putting Android in their phones. They should have at least considered placing them on 1/4 of their lineup and learn from it rather than bashing Android where their OS looks like DOS if you compare the two directly.

[citation][nom]takeapieandrun[/nom]LOL Win executive. But seriously, I don't agree. Mainly because customers don't care about profit margins.[/citation]
Apple fanboys do! :)

I would say Nokia's orth America phone selection sucks. Euro and Asia have way better phone selection than North America.

Android has near zero development cost. Tons of free Android apps, given only a short history. Lots of supporters including Google backing it. I don't know how Symbian could compete with that.

Moreover, I love my Android phone with Super-AMOLED. I did once considered Nokia, but second thought brought me to an Android phone. Sorry Nokia, but I wish you the best of luck. :)

Flawed logic by Nokia, all they need to do is to look at windows which is pretty much the de facto standart on PC, but does not seem to effect the co-existence of thousands of companies in this segment.

Plus Android competes directly with Nokia's Symbian OS, so they don't want to cut their own throat. Also, Android was developed in the US and not Finland/Europe, so they aren't too anxious to use an OS from another continent.

Someone actually used Sym3? I dont think so, stop whining and start using something else than google for change.

I think Anssi is correct when saying theres really no identity when you own android phone, they are all quite a same and Android is not all means the best option to get.
