Norton Ghost on DVD

Hi. I have used Norton Ghost for over 10 years. Creates images of windows onto another partition. Very good. However this is old software and I wan't to buy a modern software that creates images . I have looked at Norton internet security and it states "keep your data safe on line". I don't want a cloud based backup. Can I not get this now as I can still use the old Norton ghost 12.

then don't get norton. they are talking about internet security, not imaging. there have been many (and vastly better) imaging programs out there for a long time now

Norton Ghost was great back in it's day. I used it hundreds of times for PC's I've built over the years.

Probably the best on the market is Acronis True Image https://www.acronis.com/ (I've been using this for 8-9 years now). It's great for home and business use.

You can also look at free alternatives that will make backup images such as EaseUS https://www.easeus.com/ (some toys such as auto scheduling come with the paid version)

I use Macrium Reflect, both free and paid.
Vastly better options now than what Ghost had.

Hi. Forgot to add. I am getting Office 2019 but it is a C2R so no DVD. Need an image of this and windows in case things go wrong.

Once installed, create an Image of that drive.
