note 3 (verizon) stright talk problems

My girlfriend has a Verizon note 3 that we switched to straight talk and it doesn't get as good of service since we switched it is there anything that will help get better service?

Yes, going back to Verizon will get her better service again. No budget carrier like Straight Talk, MetroPCS, etc.. will have as good of a connection or data reliability as the major carriers, especially Verizon which is one of the best if not the best in that area.
