Hey guys, I did a lot of research but did not come to a clear conclusion about whether or not it is worth spending more money (in one specific case 21€ more [Asus]) on a laptop with the 4GB version while also pass on some features (like earphone plug in on the left side [MSI], because i really enjoy not having anything plugged in on the right side). I heard many people say the GTX960M can't really handly more than 2GB or vram, but others say that especially in the next years the additional 2GB would come in handy. I myself don't know much about how that stuff works so if anyone could give me a reason why either of those is worth it.

Thank you all in advance!

The GTX 960m is not a very great performer with either 2 or 4gb. It will not make much if any difference in the future where the chip itself and the resolution you play at will be the limiting factor, not the amount of video ram.

What if it is not just for playing games but also stuff like CAD modelling and rendering? Any noticeable performence difference that has to be expected? Won't play games with really high requirements anyways i think but i want a solid graphics card for CAD (as i mentioned) stuff like League of Legends, and so on that does its job for a few years.
