[citation][nom]regulas[/nom]Another lie from Obama, "I don't know how to use a iPod. He gave one to the Queen of England. He also one himself along with his crackberry, "You Lie!"[/citation]

Wouldn't giving someone that is the age of the queen an ipod be borderline elder abuse?

[citation][nom]TunaSoda[/nom]"All of this is not only putting new pressures on you, it is putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy."We don't have a democracy, we have a representative republic...[/citation]
Well we once did...and we should...but the Fed is too powerful to let that happen...We need more Governors reminding the Fed that the US is a group of Sovereign States.

The problem I have with his statement is:
He clames that he does not know how to oparate iPod. However there are multiple pictures of him running in the morning with iPod by his side. Now can you trust person who lies even about little things?

[citation][nom]ulysses35[/nom]Hmm yeah they ar distractions - it helps common people get through the week knowing they work all the hours paying loads of taxes because the government doesnt moderate wha tthe banks are upto.At the end of the day they are intended as entertainment devices. They generate huge amounts of sales / revenue and sales tax.[/citation]
You could always spend the time doing something significant and fulfilling like volunteering to help others who are more unfortunate - or have you decided that you are the most unfortunate? (

@Sabiancym

You are right about one thing. People should read the entire thing. Then they will actually know why he's a bad president.

@TunaSoda

I would go one further to say that the United States is a Constitutional Republic. We are a country ruled by Law not by Man. It is that fact that has made the difference and has made the US the greatest nation on the planet, and the more we stray from that, the worse things will get.

I really can't believe the crap I'm reading in these comments. Obama mentions some tech stuff, it's taken out of context, and all of a sudden 90% of the people on here are Rush Limbaugh.

Obama: "Children sometimes distract drivers and end up causing accidents on the road, we need to reduce distracted driving and therefore reduce casualities."

Next day on Blogs, Fox news, and apparently here.

Obama says children cause casualities!

I'm getting sick of it.

"it helps common people get through the week knowing they work all the hours paying loads of taxes"

Unless you are rather rich, Obama lowered your taxes.

What was the point of this speech? Sounds like a lot of hot air tbh, "information becomes a distraction rather than a tool for empowerment" wtf?? how is one meant to find information if everything you gain it from is a distraction? Listen to "false rumors" from people rather than their blogs. Nice to see your promoting advancement rather than a technological dark age

They are only a distraction if you make them a distraction.

Sadly... I've seen more and more people flunk out of college because they are too busy playing video games instead of doing schoolwork...
... me being one of them. Must force myself to pass classes next semester.

Once upon a time a guy with a darker skin than Obama asked me hat to do with the circle thingy with a whole in the middle. I've showed him how to put it in the CD-ROM drive and to open it (AOL CD). I've continued my work after that and the guy started swearing to himself how impossibly difficult all that was. He repeated the word "difficult" no less than 10 times. It was ridiculous situation.

:) So no wonder Obama finds iPod difficult to use. :D It's interface is for simple, stupid people and not presidents. :D

I am stunned by the US populace's animosity towards probably the most humanitarian President you've ever had. The guy wants to make sure health care is for everyone, and not just those of you that can afford health insurance. Well newsflash, people. There are MILLIONS of Americans who cannot afford health insurance, because they have low paid jobs, or no jobs, and this is 95% through no fault of their own.

I suppose most of you also subscribe to just about every Conspiracy Theory you can lay your hands on too. This is what your President is talking about. Sure these machines (except those made by Apple) are great fun, and entertainment. But keep them there, as entertainment, and make sure you check your facts before believing everything you read on some sensationalist website.

Other wise you might find yourselves posting nonsense because you don't read things through and understand them before putting your words down. Oh, wait.....too late.

He probably does think the Wii is a relevant piece of technology, and he might well know how to operate it! Nintendo makes operating missile launch codes much easier with a wiimote and a nunchuk!
