is it possible to uninstall Vista from my OKINB0108 and install XP in its place

Yes it is. But before you do it, I'd suggest backup your drivers for Vista using a third party software ( I use Driver magician) . Also using the same program, download the drivers for XP that your system would need. And then go ahead with the clean installation of XP.
