Question Old boss lifestyle 28 is system I'm trying to hook up to Sony bra I a smart tv. with optical cable. Are other cables needed?

I have optical cable connected to my boss lifestyle28. Sound is coming for radio, but not for tv I changed tv setting to audio system, tried auto and PCM settings. Are other cables needed?
