I have an old laptop and when I open core temp the results are usually up to 75C when the cpu load is over 25% I think this can damage my laptop. I also have problems with my gpu When i try to play light games like minecraft, fortnite and even online games I get a popup says: display driver has stopped responding and has recovered and a black screen. Is this a heating problem or software problem?
also my specs are
i7 4700mq
nvidia geforce gt750m
8gb ddr3
win 8.1 64bit
full laptop specs: https://www.cnet.com/products/lenovo-y410p-59399853-dusk-black-4th-generation-intel-core-i7-4700mq-2-40ghz-1600mhz-6mb/specs/

also sometimes I have clicking noise from hdd drive while startup.

Solution
It is possible that it isn't working on your laptop. As I said, it doesn't on some. There are other temperature monitoring programs out there. Free ones. I suggest a quick search and then see what one will work for you. :)

Otherwise you would have to take it to a tech to check it, which would cost.

Thanks for the answer, and yes I updated to the latest game ready driver from Nvidia website and the problem still exists
Also I tried this: https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/fix-display-driver-stopped-responding-and-has-recovered-error/
And it says it can be GPU overheating because I tried all the solutions but I didn't tried solution 5 so I think it is overheating.

Ok I'll try other monitoring temperature programs, but if it will not work I will not take it to a tech, because I am going to get a new one soon. :)
