Solved! Old sony sound system connect to new TV

I have a sony hcd-h71 sound system that i hooked up to my pc with a rca to 3.5mm but i am not able to make it work. I cant find any button on it that changes input sound through the rca. Its only radio/cd etc. My end goal is to use my tv with the sony system using a dac but i tried it with my pc first before buy the adapter. Thanks for your help!

I suspect your Sony audio input is not an input at all. It should be marked LINE-IN/AUX-IN.

The rca in puts have a "phono" label near them. So that means i cannot use the speakers in any way?
