how do i get my cable to work my old tv set, i connected everything, and nothing is happening.

on tv the cable boxes used to output to channel three or four. set the tv to over air input and see if anything pops up on channel three or four. then try setting the input to cable. if your using red white and yellow inputs from a cable box try setting the tv to aux or hdmi intput one...two or three depending how many inputs the tv has.

What does your cable company say?
The coax outlet should work.

Is this emanating from a box supplied by the cable company? Or direct from the wall?
