Solved! older Acer spin chromebook will not charge or startup

My Acer is a R11 CB5-132T. It used to work fine but now will not take a charge or startup. I opened the back, disconnected the battery and tried plugging in the charger to use but it would not start. I checked the charger with a multi meter and it shows DC output. What else can I do?

Could be a dead motherboard.
