Solved! Only half of laptop keyboard works without pressing fn?

The right side of my laptop's keyboard does not work properly.

Without pressing the fn button only few keys work at all and the ones that work only give other functions but not the actual letters such as L or P. On the other hand when I simultaneously press fn and any of the letters on the right side they all work as they should.

So it seems that basically the fn button is ''on'' all the time and pressing it cancels it. Any ideas how to fix this?

Check the Num lock key and there may be a Fn lock key also.
