Opinions on this i5 Asus laptop

Hi all I'm looking at an ASUS laptop that has the i5-460m with GT425m Nvidia graphics.

Would the power consumption on this laptop be comparable to the newer generation I5's with integrated graphics? Or would this be much worse.

Power consumption would be very similar.
Except when the GT 425M graphics card would be used instead of the Integrated HD Graphics.

I was thinking of a newer I5 but wasn't sure if it was worth the switch. Really don't know what else to compare it to.
