Over 100V present on mainboard

Im currently troubleshooting random shutdowns on lenovo laptop. While measuring some voltages i found over 100v present on one side of some coils. How could it be omg?

Hi, it depends on many variables, what is the power source you are using, how is the measurement equipment connected to the motherboard? Without this information, it is difficult to give you an answer.

Are they the coils on the HV side of the inverter for the display?
