Packard Bell Easynote LJ65 Backlight Fault

Hello,
The backlight to my laptop seems to have stopped working, i can see a very faint display on the laptop but if i plug it into an external source its perfectly fine...HELP!!!

Yup, it needs a new light source. It is a lamp that rests at the bottom of the screen and looks like a mini-fluorescent tube.
You can try to do this yourself (make sure you get the right replacement lamp first) or you can take it to a service center. If you are handy with your tools, it's not very hard to do.
