Panasonic DMC-FT30. Waterproof digital camera. Stopped working after first use underwater

After first use in shallow water it has misted up and does not function at all.
We have opened it , removed and charged battery and removed simcard. After several hours it is still not working ! We are on a holiday of a lifetime. I am very upset

After it's first use in shallow water the pictures were fuzzy. The screen was misted. We removed battery and sim card. Left open for several hours. Recharged battery. Now it will not work at all

To preserve your vacation experience, buy another camera. You only get one chance at this vacation.

Get the Panasonic fixed when you get home. Warranty or whatever.
