So we bought the TV (TX-65EX600B) quite recently and aren’t really happy with it. The biggest problem we have is with the blacks. For example, when we were watching the hobbit earlier, the scene with the eagles and mountains stuck out the worst, as the mountains looked incredibly blue instead of black.

From what I have also noticed, it sometimes depends on what angle you look at the TV from, but even then, one part may look black and the others take on the blue hue.

I have tried to look for answers, but I can’t seem to find anything.

Anyone know what settings I should try use? Or is the panel faulty? Thanks.

What signal source are you using?

What cable connections are in place?

Verify that any cables are all fully in place. Try another cable set.

Do you have the TV's User Guide/Manual?

Check the TV's configuration settings: you may simply need to "adjust" the color balance.

But then again, watch a few other movies, shows. Maybe your old TV was not showing the colors as it should.
