Password

Hello,
I have a Windows XP notebook that I can not get into. I changed the password on it about a month and a half ago and I forgot it. The notebook does not have a place were I can put CD's in to so I have to use a USB. I recently downloaded Windows 8 on it, and I don't know if that will affect what is happening.

We cannot help with bypassing passwords. Call your manufacturer and be prepared to provide proof of ownership.

Also, if it run XP now, it probably not going to be a good idea to upgrade to windows 8. Check the manufacturer to make sure it is supported.
