PC not charging

Can anyone help me please? I accidently remove my Dell Inspiron 15 3000's battery while charging. When i put it back and plugged in, the lights on the pc turns off and same as the adapter. If i only use the battery without charging or charge without battery they work just fine,but the adapter won't charge when the battery is attached.

Hello Henry Huynh

Did you try hard resetting your laptop? If not, you can do so by following the below instructions:

> Take out the battery of your laptop.

> Unplug the laptop from the power adapter.

> Press and hold down the Power button (the button that you press to turn on your laptop) for 40-60 seconds.

> Put the battery back in the laptop.

Try using the laptop normally. The issue should be resolved.
