Hi everyone!
So basically i have have a problem with sound latency and its more than a slight one, the person on the screen will say a word with there mouth and the sound wont come out until they start or are halfway through their next word. Just to give you an idea of how long it is
as for the PC i have a sound blaster z with the latest drivers and and asus crosshair v forula Z motherboard also with the latest drivers.
Now what i might think the problem is the lack of direct input or some mode like that on my receiver. So i think its the receiver's fault because it's actually a blu ray player that came with speakers, so it can act like a receiver, (it has an "optical in" on the back so it literally function as only a receiver right now, not a DVD player) but obviously it's not a full blown receiver so im not sure whether its trying to do some encoding of its own and causing latency or something to that effect.
So if anyone has any fixes that don't require me to buy a new receiver that would be great!
But im willing to get this if you guys think this will fix my problem:

Thanks a lot!
