PC won't turn on along with tv

I can't get my PC to turn on with my tv, and avr anymore with my one click harmony remote. I have PC connected to avr with HDMI cable.

What makes you think the Harmony should turn the laptop on via the HDMI cable?
Did it do this before?

I can just say it did turn on before and that's the way it's connected to AVR. It's also connected to the home wi-fi network but not understanding how this latest equipment works, I thought it was through the HDMI cable which goes to the AVR (Marantz NR1607). So I was looking for someone who could give me some possible ways that was done. I watch TV through the laptop with Slingbox.

It's also connected to the home wi-fi network but not understanding how this latest equipment works, I thought it was through the HDMI cable which goes to the AVR (Marantz NR1607). So I was looking for someone who could give me some possible ways that was done. I watch TV through the laptop with Slingbox.

I also have a Harmony, and I can't visualize how that would turn on a laptop, solely through the HDMI connection.
Doesn't work like that.
