PerfectDisk 6.0

I partitioned my 80GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 into two partition C: and D: then I install PerfectDisk 6.0 to defrag them, but it only defrag my C: when I defrag my D: the software will lock up and hog a 100% CPU usage, anyone know why?
Oh, I set the pagefile on D: at 768-1024MB
I have 512MB total system RAM, running WinXP Pro SP1 + SP2 hotfixes.

are they have different file systems: fat32, ntfs...

No, both partition are in NTFS format. One more thing to add, I've set the IoPageBlockLimit to 16384 by using Rage3DTweak v3.9 and my Page File is on D:, so does anything have to do with this?
