performance drops when charger plugged in.

I have the famous lenovo laptops problem, My pc's performance drops when playing games causing a huge FPS drops, when charger is plugged in. I've done so many reseaches & i'm sure my BIOS needs to update. can someone show me how ?!
PS: when playing games without charger, my fps is great. i'm talking about +20FPS

i use to game on a laptop and had that issue b4 just took out the batterypack when i had it in a wall outlet try that
