Phone broken help

My zte android phone won't turn back on after getting wet last night, inside the back of it was all wet, and a bit near the top of the battery. I wiped it out with a tissue and sat it there for 20 mins to dry it out, also put it out in the sun all day today to dry it out. Tried to charge it, red light comes on for about 5 seconds, then nothing. What else can I do?

Don't worry, I took the battery out and put it in the freezer for half an hour, dried the moisture off it till it was completely dry, put it back in the phone, works a treat! Someone told me about this years ago
