Solved! Picture but no sound when using firestick with amazon prime

See, the thing is I have sound from the firestick using netflix, or acorn tv, just not amazon prime. It makes no sense that the firestick will not work with the system it was designed to work with, amazon prime video. Any ideas because I am drawing a blank.

Try to clear cache and data for Amazon prime video. You can go to settings, then click on apps, look for manage all applications. Then, find Amazon prime, select clear cache and data then reboot the amazon prime app.
