Last week reports of a Motorola device powered by Nvidia's Tegra 2 did the rounds. Further cementing the likelihood that Motorola plans to launch a smartphone packing the chipset are photos of what purports to be the device itself.

Because that's all they're powerful enough for. If they were more powerful, people would do more with them.

Which one should my next gadget be?
This or a Tegra 2 tablet?
Next year will be a very interesting year.
There is a massive increase of computing power from mobile phones or tablet pcs, let just hope their battery life will also be increasing next year.

Tegra 2 IS dual core. Two ARM processing chips in the SoC.

If society is ignoring where this is leading then I feel sorry for the blind bats out there. Plain and simple it's corporate on the go, or digital life on the road. However you look at it your going to come home and plug in your keyboard, mouse, and hdtv/monitor into your phone. Wake up for work take it with and do the same at the office but run files and software from the company servers. Also have a relaxing day with the wife while she shows you hi res photo and video of the kids ball meet. Add services like huluplus and who needs dish or comcast anymore other then through broadband bandwidth for home.
