Your safety is endangered every time you drive your car, ride the bus, and get a haircut among millions of other things. To be so forcefully opinionated towards just one of them is just nuts. Do we need someone to watch us every waking moment to make sure we all "behave like good little girls and boys"? This is what you seem to suggest.
Since full body scanners are perfectly fine with you: how about blood samples, strip searches, polygraph, background check and (insert creative invasive method here)? Once people fool this new system they will keep trying to "one up" security measures without regard to privacy unless we make a fuss. There ARE other systems out there which are far less intrusive yet provide a high rate of detection.
I agree that the constitution is not perfect. However, it does exist and does apply. To ignore our rights as citizens is unlawful.
"window licking idiot" eh? Perhaps you should put more effort into making a valid point instead of childish insults. And for the record: you can protect your privacy without having anything to hide. Blurred though it might be, not all people like to be gawked at (and remember the whole fiasco about them "saving" images?)
Don't bother to respond unless you do so as a decent human being. thanks.
