Pink Viber messages

I was talking to a person on Viber then all of a sudden my messages turned pink and said this person is not connected to Viber with an option to invite. Does this mean they deactivated there Viber account or have they blocked me? I still have them in my contacts but they do not have a Viber icon next to there name anymore.
