It has worked in the past and there have been no changes to this 5.1 Athena speakers. It has not been used much. It died as I quickly increased the volume to a listening level. There was a pop and then no power. It will not power up. Could it be as obvious as the power supply. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot? Thanks.

CoulD been a short in it and the fuse popped. I start by picking up a few at local store and replace the ain fuse see if it turns back on.

thanks, smorizio... the more I have read, the more it does sound like a fuse. I just have to be able to find them. I am going to try to do it myself, although I haven't done this before. I really don't want to purchase another one, but it may cost as much to have it professionally repaired. BTW... what do you mean by ain fuse.

iPad not great for typing. The keyboard pops up and down. If you open the receiver the fuse should be right on the back of the case. Most are clipped In and are glass fuses.
