Pioneer VSX-824K Amplifier sounding much quieter for some reason?

I bought the amp in the summer, couple months ago. It worked great up until recently. For example, previously i would play loud music (volume level 45) and be able to hear it all through the house thanks to the 4 ceiling speakers i have installed. Now in order to truly play music at the same "loudness" as before, i have to turn the volume up to 60. Does anyone have any idea on why this might be?

Guessing, what all we can do here without knowing all the details on your end. I guess you changed source, or u failed to notice your source too has its own volume control.

The source hasn't been touch. My settings/sources have been set once and not touch. I'm the only one who has access to this receiver
