Hi all. I'm planning to buy a gaming laptop and I'm in between several options. I can pay up to $2000.
I might be able to buy the 17'' alienware laptop here in this link

But most likely not. So probably I'll buy an asus laptop from this link

The question is will the 970m with 3gb vram be good enough to run the upcoming games? I'm planning to use the laptop for at least 4 years and graphics and performance are important for me.
I was wondering if anyone could help choose the best alternative.
Thanks in advance.

What do you think about the MSI laptops? The one that costs 2 grands has 6gb gtx 970m and 128gb SSD but 12gb rams. How important will the ram and SSD be for more advanced games?

But it's not 17.2''. I've always played on a desktop computer so the screen size is really important for me.
