Hello Tom's people, I really need some help with which of the models below is the best. I really need some urgent help since I'm going to buy one of these models soon.

I am looking forward to the model that has:

-Blu-ray Reader
-8GB RAM
-NVIDIA GT 650M 4GB VRAM
-Back-lit Keyboard
-Includes the Subwoofer in the package

The models are:

-4338D
-S4016V
-S4023V
-S4044V
-S4165H
-DS71

All I know about the models is that they all have: GT 650M graphics but not the same VRAM, almost exactly the same design, Bang and Olufsen built-in speakers, different i7 processors, and different RAM memory.

Please be specific about the spec differences, and I also want to know if the Blu-ray drives of these models can play VCD. Thanks in advance!

P.S. Do not mind the budget, I'm out for the best of them all. I am also unlikely to choose outside of this series, N56VZ series, that is.

P.S.S. I also want to know if the Blu-ray reader can write and burn CD's. I also want to know if all N56VZ models have NVIDIA Optimus.

Very huge thanks in advance!

GT750M is alot ALOT faster than GT650M

dont go for old technology .. look for notebook with GT750M and Haswell as well

Haswell gives 50% more battery life

about that, yeah, I'm pretty sure that I am not choosing anything else outside the ASUS N56VZ models. thanks for the recommendation though, I am thinking of searching for other ASUS models that have your list of specification. Still, I am looking for a solution to my question. Please help

**UPDATE: You know what SNA3, you are very, VERY right. You sir, sure woke me up. I found an even newer model from the N-SERIES of ASUS, and it has what you have said. Haswell (Intel Core i7 4700HQ), GeForce GT 750M, and best of all, a sleeker and thinner physical design. ASUS N550JV everybody, it's new, and coming in almost all your store shelves very soon.

you have mistakenly not read the specifications of this laptop, sir. the N550JV has an IPS touch screen. and an IPS Full HD non touch version is available too. i'm just wondering if there really is an IPS Full HD Touch Screen N550JV though. many said that 1080p touch screen is not existent lol

nah i don't really trust samsung xD oh so there really is a 1080p touch version IPS of the N550JV? that's splendid. I just hope that i get to find the exact model I want because ASUS is really notorious with these model names. to be specific, i want the 4gb vram gt 750m, 1tb hdd, 1080p touch with matte screen, blu-ray drive, and 8gb or higher ram. I'm totally lost with asus. they give so many options for this model, yet, they don't make it clear whether the buyer really chooses the specs him/herself. think you can help me with finding the exact model?

key specs:
-NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 4GB VRAM
-Blu-ray Drive
-8GB or higher RAM
-1080p FHD Matte Touch Screen
-1TB HDD (or 750 or 500 it's okay)

i am buying from the Philippines, unfortunately. even the n56vz model here only has 2gb ram. is it possible that if i order from the asus service center here, i will give them the exact specs i want and find the model themselves?
