i totally dont have both ethernet controller and network controller in the device manager of my acer aspire e1-432 laptop since the day i changed from windows 8 to windows 7 starter.
all i can see under "other devices" window are PCI DEVICE, PCI SIMPLE COMMUNICATIONS CONTROLLER, SM BUS CONTROLLER, AND USB CONTROLLER.
NO MORE NO LESS.
Please help me out please.

You need to install the Windows 8 drivers for your model from Acer's website.
Install the 'Chipset' driver first.
