PLEASE HELP my toshiba satellite laptop light turns onn for 10 secounds then turns off and it does not turn on HELP PLEASE

What happens when you remove the battery and attempt to boot with just wall-power? It could be the battery is dead, or the charging port is defective.

If it doesn't show any sights on life with the battery removed, there's a good chance it's the charging port &/or charger.
