If there is no life at all, did you check with a new charger? Try without the battery in the system? Is it in warranty?

Open the system, remove the CMOS battery if it has one, without the battery or wall power attached hold in the power button for about 30 seconds. Plug in only wall power and see if it turns on. If not, then chances are good you have a bad motherboard unless somehow the power button is bad.
