please help upgrade ram Lenovo yoga 510 14isk?

How to upgrade RAM? RAM slot is under a metal box and unable to move it any, I tried and was near to break Main-board What can I do now? I have some pictures of Mainboard.

most ram has a pair of clips to either side to pull to the side and loosen the ram.

hi, thanks. but do you look at pictures? there is a metal box that is looks like soldered in mainboard or whatever? it prevent me to access clips. ram is hidden under it, do you mind looking at pics please?

hi, sure! I updated first post. As nature of cloud that contain image, image-tags not possible, just added links and folder link.

From your description and your pictures the metal cover is removable - just be very careful. You may need some fine pincers or tweezers and it's going to be a fidgety undertaking.

This YouTube video is a review of the Yoga 710 but it has the same metal cover on the RAM module. Go to 3:37 when the reviewer removes the bottom panel. You'll see the metal cover in the upper left corner. The reviewer also removes this cover and explains how to do it.

Your 3rd picture clearly shows the small clips that you need to tweak slightly and, again, be careful and take your time.
