Please help with my lenovo Y700 :(

I have an SSD and a HDD. When playing games from my SSD it will never shut down on me, but games downloaded to my HDD makes my laptop shut down(or goes to sleep, not too sure exactly what the term for it is) but I am able to click the mouse and log right back in. I used speedfan and it says my HDD is fine. Idk what's wrong with it. I'll be installing a new HDD soon, maybe it's just a faulty HDD?

Hi there Termterm,

Can you turn on the laptop immediately after it shuts off? In case you can't, then I believe it is overheating. You may need to clean the dust of it.

It is a good idea to back up the data stored on the drive until you sort this out.
