Please help!

I have owned a Lenovo Z575 that worked fine until now. But today, during the middle of my browsing., the screen turned white!
I turned off the computer out of panic. Now, when I try to turn it on, all I'm greeted with is a black screen. Can anyone please help? Thanks.

I blew at the vents just then. So, I should take apart the computer and see if it's the graphics card?

I plugged it up to an external monitor, and it is now working. But the screen on the laptop just doesn't work. Any fixes?

if the external work could be the panel or part of it check you connector cable to it.
