PLS HELP! Laptop SHUTTING DOWN RANDOMLY

Hi, My laptop ACER ASPIRE E 15 (E5-575G-54YE) is randomly shutting down, FREQUENTLY. I bought it last june 2017, and this problem started like around jan-march 2018. I remember updating windows 10 before the problem started.

I already checked for viruses, the laptop is not hot either. The fan is working. I tried troubleshooting too. I've already reset the laptop hoping the problem would stop, but it STILL HAPPENS.

Sometimes on start up, “scanning and repairing drive” shows up and i'd finish it. I also check errors on the drive but after it is finished, still the same, laptop is shutting down.

Sometimes it shuts down on startup, or after logging in, or after a couple of minutes. It shuts down even if i don't use any app/software. One more thing is that when it shuts down, there's a sound like the sound when we shut down a laptop.

I hope you could help me fix this problem. I badly need help because i use it for school works. Thanks and godbless.

P. S. I noticed that the laptop doesn't shut down randomly when charger is connected.

Press your Windows key and R together then in the Run box, type
control
and hit the Enter key.

In the Control Panel, click on Administrative tools then on Event Viewer.

Once in there, click on Windows Logs then on System.

Go through the list to find any red marks and copy and paste the details back here for folks to see what causes your shutdowns although I think your last few words in your post points to a dud battery..
