Pls help my laptop might be bricked

I use a svf153 sony laptop. Yesterday my laptop suddenly started to lag and booting started to take a lot of time. So i reset the laptop to factory settings uaing tje feature available on windows 8.1 . The resetting took abput 5 hours and after that booting took 30 min. When the vaio screen was done loading for approximately 45min, my laptop showed a blue screen of death and restarted multiple times. Each restart showed a different error and then loaded into a blue screen of death and then again restarted. This continued for several times and then it showed me a screen in which i had several options such as continue to windows, troubleshoot, enter a recovery drive, shut down etc. Now when i start the pc it goes into the vaio screen, sits there for 30min approx, then goes into the the vaio loading screen with the circular pattern appearing below the vaio symbol and then nothing. This gives me about an hour of mindf*** followed by depression. Pls pls help me out

Can you try running a Memtest? http/www.memtest.org/

It sounds like potentially bad RAM, or possibly hard drive.
