Plugged in charger and dell vostro and charger both turned off suddenly, and not able to turned on again

Today i was working on my dell vostro. When battery reached aboit 40% i plugged in the charger and suddenly charger and laptop both goes off in less than a second.

Now i am not able to turn on laptop with and without battery.

Please help...

Plug off battery and plug back charge if works this is only batter issue.
If not working borrow another charge and check if not working you laptop need repair :/

Again, try a replacement power supply, it's much cheaper and easier! Ebay have them for about £7, just check feedback of sellers before buying, otherwise fork out £50 for a Dell one )
