Plz giv me suggestions

I hav old philips home thether lx 1000 .. but thr dvd player is not working.. but the speaker r in working condition..i want to start that speakers with another dvd player but problem is that speaker cables r in square shape..( the old philips home thether hav that shape of speaker cable) , nowdays that type of speaker cable r not coming .. plz suggest me some way

The HTS is not just a DVD player it also has amps for the speakers.
Get just a DVD or BD player. It will connect to your TV with HDMI. It won't have any speaker connections.
The TV audio output will get the audio to the HTS as it may already be set up to do.
