I am currently working with a Sand Dunes device that has a 12.1 inch
touchscreen. I am looking for another device that would be much smaller
but bigger than a PDA type device that would allow me to run it wireless
using IE and hit a website just like I would with the Sand Dune unit. I
understand the screen size would be smaller and limit my view but this
device I am looking for must be larger than a PDA device. Any assistance
is greatly appreciated.

there are a bunch of TabletPCs with a 10" display. Especially
the slate models, those that don't have a "built-in" keyboard,
are pretty small.

There are also a few tablets with a 8.x" display.

Google for Siemens SIMpad or T-Mobile SinusPad. They are cheap, they have
800x600 resolution and run Windows CE for Handheld PC 2000 or Windows CE
..NET.

Some pocket pc devices, like the Toshiba e800 have a high resolution screen
at 640 by 480. I have been using IE with it and web pages view very nicely
with it. With 3 different options of viewing a web page; Desktop, Default,
and One Column. Landscape view is also available if you have Windows Mobile
Second Edition, which for my device was a free download, which i downloaded
before i bought my Toshiba.
Its also a 4 inch screen, which is just a little bigger than most pocket pc
devices.

They are mostly to be found on internet auctions. In Europe you can buy one
for about 200 USD.

...but HandheldPC 2000 was released some years ago.
I wonder how long you'd get support (if at all). I also
think that most current PPC applications wouldn't run
on it.

Have you checked any of the 8.4" Tablet PCs, such as the HP or the Itronix?
Although ruggedized, they may be the combo you're looking for.
http://thetabletpc.net/itronix.htm - http://thetabletpc.net/hp.htm

The HugeBee is a non-ruggedized model -

Fugitsu or FUJISU... either way I did a search for a 1120 and didn't find
one without a keyboard and had a touchscreen. Would you happen to have a
address of this item?

Thanks
