I have been using Pocket PhoneTools Pro on my iPaq 4150 with SonyEricsson
phones (T610/Z600/K700i). Acording to the program features, I should be
able to use my PPC to dial my phone and talk via my BT headset. However, I
have never been able to do this with any one of my BT phones and headset
pairs. Can anyone help? BVRP's support is next to nothing.........

Well, I have done it quite well with Ericsson phones and headsets, but it is
a long time since I've last done it, since I don't use it since the
beginning of 2003.

I don't remember that I had to do something special for it to work. The big
problem is that I could not use their dial, could only dial from the
Contacts book. The dialer keeps a steady connection with the phone to
emulate the interface of the phone in the PPC, and so it doesn't do the
handsoff properly to free the connection so that the phone can connect to
the headset.

So at the end I gave up on them and moved to Running Voice GSM, which has a
passive mode that allows this to work from the dialer as well. See it on
www.pocketpresence.com

Another software that can do the trick is Simple Call from
www.visualit.co.uk . It is only a dialer, not a full product like Running
Voice or Pocket Phone Tools. The good part of it is that you can use it
instead of the dialer of Pocket Phone Tools, and then things work for it.
