Poor printing?

I shoot a nikon d800. the files are very large and very clear. When they were printed at Targets machine and made into wallets they were blurry and double imaged...is it the printer or should i make the files smaller for printing....

Have you tried a test print on a printer at home or a friend's printer? Try printing one of the pictures on another printer and see how if it is a better print. I'm not sure reducing the size of the image will help. What format are the pictures saved as on the camera?
