Solved! Portable hotspot on Android doesn't work

Neither portable nor usb hotspot works I can turn on the hotspot people can connect to it but it doesn't work don't know if it's my phone's problem or what. tried changing the apn type to dun but it says operator does not allow adding apns of dun type.my phone pocophone f1
Help in solving the problem is appreciated

Sounds like your carrier/service provider may have that option blocked on your device. Not shocking, many do that.

Many companies restrict the option due to the fact that the devices being connected through it will use a lot more data than the phone itself would.

Try calling your carrier/service provider and make sure that is the case first.
