Portege Z10-A digitizer doesn't work

Updated the device drivers for my Portege z10-A and after that the touch screen doesn't respond to digitizer input. i've tried installing old drivers and nothing seems to work.

Some things to try if your touchscreen doesn't work...

1. Restart the computer. Sometimes that is all that it needs.

2. Go to "Start" and in the search box type "Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input". Choose the top result. In this new screen click "Setup" and follow the instructions.

3. Go to "Control Panel" and then "Device Manager". Select the "Monitors" section and right click on your monitor. Check the information for the touch screen and make sure it is "enabled".

Thanks for the reply, i've tried all of this but the screen still won't respond to a digitizer. the touch capability still works for using my hands, but just not with a stylus.

Perhaps it is the stylus you are trying to use? Not all of them actually work as well as they should. Also, have you checked the sensitivity of the display to see if that has changed?
