Power button doesn't work

My keyboard was acting up (press the space bar and a bunch of random letters popped up) now the power button doesn't work and I can't turn ,

The symptoms look like something is shorting out your motherboard. Please check if standoffs are installed correctly and that no naked wires are touching the motherboard surface, also do check that no screws or any sort of those things are behind the motherboard

Is the power strip and power cables firmly seated into place?

Bad keyboard, maybe a bad motherboard. A tech can fix it, if it's worth the parts & labor cost. Otherwise it might be time to get a new laptop (or send yours in for warranty service, if it's still covered).
