Power button locked on Viewsonic N2750w tv

I bought a used Viewsonic N2750w hdtv and the power button on the front of the tv displays power button locked so it must be turned from a switch on the back of the TV. Is there some way to unlock the front power switch?

On the tv itself hold down channel up button while holding that press and hold the menu button . this will un lock it
